1. University of Helsinki Faculty of Medicine
Tuition: €15,000
The University of Helsinki is one of the few colleges in Finland that accepts several international students. They also provide one of the best medical education and research work which made the U.S. News and World Report rank them #88 in Best Universities for Clinical Medicine.
In addition, they provide several programmes in the English language, which medical programme is one of them.
Their Faculty of Medicine offers several medical programmes such as medicine, dentistry, psychology, logopedics and translational medicine. But all of them are taught in Finnish except the Master’s Programme in Translational Medicine.
The programme accepts students from suitable educational backgrounds, such as life sciences and natural sciences, engineering, psychology etc. Since it’s a master’s programme, it only takes 2 years (120 ECTS credits) to complete, and it costs €15,000.

2. University of Turku Faculty of Medicine
The University of Turku provides medical schools in Finland taught in English, multidisciplinary research-based degree education in four different degree programmes leading to a Licentiate of Medicine or Dentistry, a Master of Health Sciences and a Master of Science. The Faculty also has four Master’s degree tracks taught in English which include;

- Drug Discovery and Development
- Molecular Biotechnology and Diagnostics
- MDP in Human Neuroscience
3. University of Tampere – Faculty of Medicine and Heath Technology (MET)
The University of Tampere is the second largest provider of medical speciality training in Finland and also offers training in five dental specialities. Their passion for excellence makes them educate professionals to work, among other things, in the healthcare sector and companies in the fields of medicine and health technology.
Most of their medical courses are taught in Finnish, while only two master’s programmes are taught in English.
4. University of Eastern Finland – School of Medicine
This is one of the medical schools in Finland for international students that teaches 2 medical courses in the English language, they include;

- Master’s Degree Programme in Biomedicine
The school works in close cooperation with Kuopio University Hospital and various hospital districts and health care and specialist medical care providers in the area.
