The (Mankind United To Support Total Education) MUSTE Scholarship is an award that was birthed from Jim Ovia Scholarship in 2007, where awardees are given funding for undergraduate study for the duration of their undergraduate program. The complete tuition fee of the awardees is paid plus a maintenance allowance.
The Scholarship is awarded to 100 students annually, and over 1,500 students have received this scholarship from Mr. Jim Ovia, since its inception in October 2010.
MUSTE Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- The MUSTE Scholarship is open to all undergraduate University students of Nigerian citizenship.
- One hundred (100) awardees are selected each year from a pool of eligible applicants.
- Scholarships are awarded on the basis of personal intellectual ability, leadership capability, and a desire to contribute to society at large to improve the lives of others.
Documents to Provide for the Scholarship
To successfully register for the MUSTE Scholarship, applicants must;
- Have their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination result or the equivalent
- Have a current admission letter into a recognized higher level institution
- Pass JAMB and Post-JAMB examinations
- Undergraduates already in school must attach a recent photocopy of their school I.D
- Attach recent passport photograph
- Include a valid email address, residential address, and telephone number
How to Apply for the MUSTE Undergraduate Scholarship
- You have to visit the MUSTE Scholarship official website.
- Register your account
- Print and fill out the form COMPLETELY where it applies to our category.
- Fill in your current university and your proposed year of graduation.
- Scan and submit all necessary documents.
- Send that folder with all the documents to muste@youthempowerment.org.ng
- The email address used in sending your form MUST be in this format: firstname.lastname@email.com
- Your email address must contain your first and last name.
