What is MTN Foundation Scholarship All About
This is an MTN scholarship for undergraduate 2022 awarded to 300L students studying science and technology-related programs in an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria. It doesn’t matter if the student is studying at a University, polytechnic, or college of education.
300 students will receive this award, and it’s renewable till they graduate if they maintain the required grade. There is also another kind of ₦200,000 worth of scholarship exclusively designed for 60 blind students in their 200L, and these awardees will continue to receive this payment till they graduate if they maintain the required grade.
When the awardees graduate, each of them will participate in MTNF Skill Up Training, this makes sure they are equipped with the right skills to add value to Nigeria’s labor market. They also get other advantages like participating in professional training such as PMI (Project Management Institute) and getting the latest info about job opportunities from the scholars’ forum.

- 2 recent passport photographs
- A valid Student ID card
- JAMB and institution admission letter
- Any other means of identification (National Identification Card, An International Passport or a Driver’s license)
- For polytechnic students, you must provide an Admission letter for the HND programs
How to Apply for MTN Foundation Scholarship
For you to apply for the MTN Undergraduate Scholarship 2022/2023 you need to;
- Visit the official MTN scholarship website and select the “create account” button to start register.
- Once you’ve uploaded the necessary personal information, go to your email, verify and activate your account.
- Go back to the website and log in with your username and password.
- After login In, Copy the 12-digit PIN No. together with your page, and select the “Apply for Scholarship” button. to begin applying
- Enter the 12-digit PIN No. and click the ”Apply Now”
- Enter all information as required on the Application Form and click the “Submit” button.
- Make sure to print a copy of the completed form for the verification process
MTN Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the MTN scholarship for undergraduate 2022;
- The applicant must be in his/her 300L
- Blinded students can apply from their 200L
- The applicant must be a full-time student
- Part-time students are not eligible
- Applicants must have 3.5 CGPA on a 4.0-grade point or any other equivalent of 2:1 (second class upper).
- If you’re an applicant from a polytechnic, you must at least have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 to be eligible for your Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
- Also, you must have secured admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) prior to the scholarship application
- If you’re a direct entry student into any university, you must have gotten at least 3.0 on your National Diploma result, although you can only be eligible to apply at 300l.
