Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship is inviting undergraduates, whether those in the University, Polytechnics or College of Education for their 2022/2023 annual scholarship award. The Scholarship is awarded yearly, and it’s named after Chief Abdul-Ganiyu “Gani” Oyesola Fawehinmi.

How Much is the Scholarship
The Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship is worth ₦100,000 and awarded to 20 undergraduate students.
Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants have to be citizens or residents of Nigeria
- The applicant must show interest in financial need, in essence, applicants must come from a low-income family
- The applicant must have a solid academic record.
- Available for all tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
Documents to Provide for the Scholarship
- A photocopy of the candidate’s current identity Card
- A letter from the candidate’s current head of Department, including correct information on the candidate’s CGPA for the last academic session
- A letter from the Registrar certifying that the candidate is a student of the institution
- A copy of the candidate’s registration form for the current semester; and
- 2 recent passport size photographs.
How to Apply for Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship
To apply for the Gani Fawehinmi Scholarship, you need to;
- Send a letter of application to the scholarship board office (which we will list shortly).
- Your letter has to begin with your full name, the program you’re studying, and the current year of study.
- In your letter, you have to express your concern for the scholarship and why Gani Fawehinmi should choose you.
